Pivot park is the cornerstone and first phase of uCity Square, a 14 acre, 2.5M SF mixed-use community positioned between Penn Presbyterian Hospital (an affiliate of Penn Medicine), Drexel University, and University of Pennsylvania in West Philadelphia. The park is designed to serve as a vibrant, welcoming gateway to the district. Colorful sculptures, curving walls and rich plantings weave through the park. A street-level seating area facilitates informal gathering, and can be rearranged for small events or performances. An elevated terrace offers a more contemplative space, overlooking the street level below. Pivot Park is currently under construction, scheduled to open in Summer of 2019.
